Following in your footsteps

Isn't she the most beautiful Hermana you have ever seen?
I'm such a fan of my sister!!
Haley sent so many pictures today and here are few of my favorites.
She was happy this week! I love her and #MissionaryMonday

Library Living

It's finals week. The library is open until 1 am. Weird things start to happen when you spend hours speaking in hushed tones surrounded by rows of books that no one ever opens (hashtag the internet).
Things I have learned the last few days on the 2nd floor.
1. Things are funnier in the "quiet study area"
2. We aren't very good at being quiet and I'm pretty sure everyone in this area hates us.
3. Headphone dance parties in the bookshelves of the basement (learned nothing but had such a great time it needed to be included on the list)
4. If you aren't careful you may find that you can consume a large amount of candy, cafe brownies and any other edible items retrieved from the depths of everyone's backpacks.
5. The time to things accomplished ratio is is skewed depressingly far left... or right... which ever way shows that you didn't get enough done for the amount of time you spend staring at your computer screen.
6. Studying with other people is much more fun but not necessarily a good choice. However, the memories are totally worth the lack of sleep. Love my aggies!

Easter Sunday

Only Nicole and I would wake up early to capture the perfect roommate Easter photo.

kiss kiss and Happy Easter from Megan and Nicole.
It was a B E A U T I F U L Sunday morning, perfect for Easter. #BecauseOfHim I am able to feel the joys of each and everyday. I was able to come to Utah State and live with my wonderful roommate. I am grateful for sunshine and springtime and for Nicole! I love Easter and my Savior Jesus Christ.

tattoos on this town

It sure left its mark on us, we sure left out mark on it
We let the world know we were here with everything we did
We laid a lot of memories down, like tattoos on this town
Like tattoos on this town

Let's not talk about how the semester is ending. I'm not ready to write that post yet. Instead let's take a moment to acknowledge how cool Logan, Utah is! They call this place the concrete jungle. I enjoyed a beautiful Saturday morning with two wonderful gals vandalizing and ignoring all the school work waiting for us back at the bottom.
Picture overload but I don't even care because I loved this place. (photo credit: Nicole Tucker)

Hermana Haley Frodsham

Haley has been out  O N E   Y E A R  today!
Dear next person who tells me how quickly it has gone by or how they can't believe it's already been a year...  I may explode on you. This has been a LONG year as far as my sister goes. It feels like she has been gone a lifetime. What I have learned in the last year is that no average missionary lasts 12 months in Nicaragua. My sister is something special! It has been hard not having her around to help me stumble through the big mile stones I have hit this last year. However, I have a testimony that what she has been doing instead is far more important. Haley has always been a hard worker and tougher than most girls. It's a good thing she is because reading her e-mails I have thought more than once about how if I were in her shoes I would search the jungle for the fastest plane out of there. Oh I miss her sassy attitude and even her bossy tendencies. I'm already looking forward to my reunion with her 19.5 months from now. xoxo to my favorite Hermana today and Happy hump day.

Study Break

17 days until the end of freshman year as an Aggie.
50 days until I'm a missionary.

Not sure how I feel about either.

enough with the emotions already

It was an emotional weekend.
Whose idea was it to put the evacuation of the Donetsk Ukraine mission and a 6.8 Earthquake in Managua in the same day? The goodbyes started this weekend too and I wasn't prepared for that. I am no where near on track with my school work and I wonder if Heavenly Father is over estimating my capability to manage balance cope function ... who knows what I am doing at this point.
Today I sat in the last fast and testimony meeting of the year and thought life as an 18/19/20 year old is emotional. The last few month of my life have been some of the hardest few month of my life and I am not alone in saying that. Find yourself any 'not a kid but not quite and adult yet' and there is a good chance they'll say the same thing. Life is hard, love isn't as peachy as the movies show it to be, school is demanding, money can't buy happiness but is require to stay alive, people frustrate and disappoint you, sometimes you have to say goodbye but you hang on to those
Magical Moments and Meaningful Memories.
Life might be full of emotions but what would it be without them..probably pretty boring.
